We went here last night for drinks for my husband's birthday. Tom the bartender was super-friendly and helpful; he made great drinks and took the time to take our photo, too! I love the elevated tiki vibe of the bar. I also appreciate that the food the bar serves from Kojo next door tries to use natural ingredients (although we haven't tried the food yet). We'll be back for dinner sometime!
Great ambiance. Made a reservation so was able to walk right in and be sat immediately. Parking was easy! Super friendly staff! The food was to die for!
The drinks are esthetically pleasing and super delicious. It's a bit pricey, but the drinks really are awesome. The place is dim inside, and gives you Hawaiian vibes. The servers are super attentive, constantly refilling your water drinks.
This place takes the cake for amazing cocktails!! The bartenders are always so good and knowledgeable. They make awesome tropical, tiki vibe drinks. I always suggest this for a go to for drinks. They have really good wagyu lettuce wraps and now they share a kitchen with Kojo! So you can get all the amazing food of Kojo here also.
Chandler made sure my allergy won't kill me. Super friendly guy with the knowledge to show a gluten free girl a great time. Ohhhhh the dishes the sashimi dishes they serve!!! Check it out!
We really love this spot. Drinks are unique and delicious. I got salt and pepper shrimp which was delicious. Ambiance is 10/10 for decor, lighting, and volume level. A super chill and relaxing vibe. Fries were good. Highly recommend. Our server was very helpful with navigating the menu. The only downfall is not enough options for gluten free folks; we had two in our party and pretty much they can only order a salad which was a little disappointing but on the upside they both ended up loving the salad and thinking it was delicious.
Fun hip downtown tiki Sarasota bar. Gets a little busy later on Fridays or Saturdays so go early if you want to sit but fun people watching either way.
New spot in Sarasota associated with Kojo. The drinks and environment are very elegant although I wish they had a more tiki vibe. The drinks are delicious but small. Pros - pretty environment with delicious drinks. Great service and very friendly Cons - can get very busy so make sure to have a reservation on the weekends. Great place to have drinks on a night out in downtown Sarasota.

In priority order by most favorite: Coconut Habanero Ceviche local snapper, spicy leche de tigre, avocado, plantain & taro chips Grilled Wagyu beef Skewers yuzu kosho-caramelized onion jam, kabayaki, meyer lemon Tuna Tartare avocado, yuzu tobiko, truffled ginger ponzu, radish, wonton chips Chilled Sesame Noodles with Shrimp creamy sesame-peanut sauce, mala chili oil, crunchy shredded vegetables, cilantro Glazed Pork Ribs thai basil, crispy shallots, lime Crispy Lava Wings sweet & spicy pineapple-habanero glaze, fried garlic Nice vibe in the place... younger crowd, loud inside. Will definitely revisit! On the other previous comments... The place is small - no walk ins, you need a reservation, for the bar and dinner tables. It doesn't have a lot of room for walk ins. Make a reservation... you won't be disappointed!
